Located in Waterford, Connecticut, Seconn was founded in July of 2003 by Robert Marelli, Jr, our company president & CEO. Originally working out of a small 2,000 square foot rented space, Marelli and his team quickly developed a dedicated customer following (many of whom are still with us today). Their willingness to do whatever it takes to win and keep customers lead to rapid growth. What started as a modest job shop, went through multiple expansion and renovations over the first 18 months.
By 2004 it was clear that Seconn needed a dedicated manufacturing space consistent with its potential. A former Sears warehouse just off the intersections of Interstates 95 and 395 in Waterford was secured and renovations began.
Initially the space consisted of 30,000 square feet comprising manufacturing and offices. Growth continued throughout the years eventually requiring an expansion to the facility.
Now with more than 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space under roof, including internal Powdercoating, state of the art cutting and punch equipment and dedicated welding and forming areas, Seconn is firmly established as a leader in the precision sheet metal industry. Recognized by The Fabricator as part of the Fab40 and Fabricator of the Year, we are still pushing the envelope; adding additional capacity and capabilities and expanding our customer base to include a diverse mix of industries, products and companies.
