Hear From Our Team

I’ve been given the opportunity to learn and train in many areas including laser cutting / punching, press brake, and in automation where I actually program robots to make our parts. The people I work with are friendly and really help make Seconn an enjoyable place to work. I really like the fact that over the course of nine years I’ve been able to learn and grow in just about every department of the shop. It makes me feel more valuable and appreciated.

Tyler, with Seconn since 2014

I am a very social person and my favorite thing here is the people. Everyone is team-oriented and we look out for each other and help each other. I am also fascinated with the entire process of creating a consumer product beginning with a piece of flat metal, and the coordinated involvement of numerous trades to make that happen.
The work is challenging and the pace is fast. It’s never boring. There are opportunities to experience all the different aspects of sheet metal fabrication. Management has an open-door policy and they are very easy to work with, they are supportive of the balance between work life and personal life.

Kim, with Seconn since 2013

What I love about Seconn is how there’s always more opportunity and more ways to grow here. I started my career with absolutely no knowledge of sheet metal, performing mechanical assembly, which was fun, but I knew I wanted to do more. Over time I learned welding, powder coating, grinding / finishing, hardware insertion, assembly and press brake operation. Seconn strives to cross-train employees, which helps the company while making me more valuable.
