Machine Shop

Essential Duties:

  • Set up and run Bridgeports, Lathe and CNC Cold Saw (we will train)
  • Communicate with management to resolve machining constraints & scheduling issues.
  • Maintain safe work practices and an orderly and clean work area.
  • Understand LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Read blueprints & interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Proper use of Micrometers & Calipers for inspection
  • High attention to detail & be able to be self-motivate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 ears in a manufacturing environment preferable some machining or secondary experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Must be able to lift 55lbs. properly
  • Operate in a fast paced work environment
  • Pass background & Drug test
  • Ability to work independently & solve problems
  • Ability to perform 1stpiece inspection

Press Brake Operator

Position Summary: 

Setup and safely operate CNC Press Brakes to process/produce highest quality products.

Essential Duties:

  • Setup and document tolling and safe practices for Press Brake operations
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.
  • Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs.
  • During operations Operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of the machine
  • In process checks will be required by the operator to maintain all required tolerances and quality
  • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
  • Communicates all production related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors.
  • Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, and inspection of parts to assure conformance will be required.
  • Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
  • Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on pallet to eliminate double handling and work efficiently.
  • Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • High school diploma or general education (GED) and one to two years related experience utilizes an insert machine and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple correspondence.
  • Ability to understand and possess basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to understand work orders and follow procedures.

 

Powder Coat

Position Summary:

Responsible for hanging and removing parts as well as ensuring parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Pretreat, clean, mask, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed.
  • Perform required quality checks including 1st piece, in-process and final inspections.
  • Load parts correctly onto line for maximum line capacity
  • Change hanging patterns as needed.
  • Apply powder to parts on conveyor line, using electrostatic paint gun.Powder Coat
  • Putting plugs/tape onto parts
  • Use measuring devices to ensure highest level of quality.
  • Sanding and/or correcting parts as needed.
  • Department housekeeping
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years powder coating experience
  • Knowledge of powder coat process
  • Basic knowledge of reading part blueprints and knowledge of maintaining paint line functionality.
  • Experience with managing inventory of products
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical certifications preferred or powder coating experience.
  • Excellent communication skills required both written and verbally.

 

Hardware Insertion

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, the Pem Insertion Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing pem insertion operations by working off of routings, work instructions, and job orders.

Essential Duties:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Start up, set-up, and operate the pem insertion machine to manufacture product specified on work orders using engineering prints and standard work instructions and inspection procedures.
  • Properly follow instructions as provided on routings and other job related materials.
  • Verifies that the appropriate pem nuts, studs, or standoffs are being inserted per print.
  • Visually inspects to ensure product hardware is secure and undamaged.
  • Conducts first piece quality requirements or has Team Lead inspect.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
